I just discovered your channel. Thanks for all this awesome advice. I’ve always had wavy hair but have always straightened it. I really wanna try this method but first I need a hair cut. Do you have any advice about haircuts to help reveal the curls. Are layers good, is there a type of haircut you ask for other than a curly cut? I have long fine dense hair and would love some advice about cuts as in the past I stayed away from layers to make it appear more voluminous. I’ve never embraced my curls until now!

I cut about 3 inches off my hair every 3 years because a) I dont know how to cut my own hair and b) im terrified of letting anyone cut my hair. After watching this I will be actually cutting and layering my own hair this weekend😅

Omg why didn’t I find this video earlier tonight .. I just watched 3 others and have ended up cutting about 3 inches off my gorgeous curls getting It wrong to then find this …I’ve somehow salvaged it thanks to this lady : ) but 3 inches down aghhhhh !!! take my advice go for this technique as the others fail lol

Yeah but what did you use to "wash or pre poo"? Did you clarify and which cleansing conditioner did you use before these products?

this was so helpful - and soo easy! I've never tried mousse after plopping and it helped sooo much with volume at the roots and the maintenance of volume through the day. also I like that when you apply mousse after drying a little, it seems to bother my scalp less. this will be my routine from here on out. thank you!

Oh.. My.... 😘😘😘😘.. This gives me hope.. This is my hair.. Its flat at root and wavy shaft and ends.. It curls up same way when i scrunch with conditioner. But my curls never stay longer. And my goal is also volumizing at the roots and to keep d curls for longer..but never knew how to..
